Keppel Corp won contract worth US$180 million!

On 25/Nov, Singapore shares end higher Thursday due to better than-expected U.S. labor numbers which boost the confidence of investors in the global economics growth STI ended higher at 3159.23 (0.7%) with LOW VOL of 1.03 billion shares traded compared with 1.63 billion shares Wednesday. In the broader market, gainers outnumbered losers 307 to 155. Today STI trading volume is extremely low as investors side-lined since US market is close today and only operates in the early session for tomorrow. Headline in STI After market close Keppel Corp has won a US$180 million contract to build a jackup rig for Standard Drilling.
