Cosco won contracts worth US$110 million!

On 01/Dec, Singapore shares end higher Wednesday on PMI data from China which shown manufacturing rose better than expected rate. STI ended higher at 3181.94 (1.2%) with LOW VOL of 1.27 billion shares traded compared with 1.35 billion shares Tuesday. In the broader market, gainers outnumbered losers 315 to 136. Today STI performed a solid rally with ratio of 70% of stocks ended positive however the trading activities remain relatively low. Headline in STI Before market close Singapore Airlines Ltd. units plead guilty on fixing prices on air-cargo shipments from 2002 until at least February 2006 and will pay a $48 million criminal fine. Singapore Airlines Ltd. (C6L.SG) will increase the fuel surcharges on tickets issued from Dec. 2 onward. After market close Cosco Corp Ltd.
