Read? Will You Try To Pay Off Your Housing Loan ASAP If You Have One? (5) Yesterday, I casually asked a colleague when is he getting his CPF and what is his investment plan? He told me he got it 3 months ago and also attended CPF Talk on Investing Options for Reaching 55. He told me he has no any other investment plan except to leave it in CPF to service his housing loan - another 11 years to go!!! I guess he must have upgraded his home at least once. Probably, he is like many other CPF members who are thinking of using their residential home as assets for retirement. What will happen when eventually this fairly large group of residential home property investors start cashing out their older HDB flats. I believe that people around my age groups are from babies-boom era, right? Will HDB Resale properties crash in 10-15 years ......

I am 62 yrs old uncle living in HDB heartland who has achieved financial independence @ 56 and finally retired @ 60 from full-time job as employee on 1 Oct 2016.
