On 06/Dec, Singapore shares end higher Monday though US reported a worse than expected Nov jobs data on Friday night. STI ended higher at 3181.41 (0.3%) with LOW VOL of 1.07 billion shares traded compared with 1.13 billion shares Friday. In the broader market, gainers outnumbered losers 244 to 217. Today STI continue to trend directionless with low trading activities waiting for more outcomes ahead. Headline in STI Before market close Keppel Land expects to gain higher profit of $394 million due to sale of property in Marina Bay after the tax authority decided that they would treat the divestment as capital gain. Singapore Exchange’s (SGX) US$8 billion bid for Australia’s ASX Ltd will take till May of next year to complete pending government approval. DBS will sell DBS Asset Management to Nikko Asset Management for US$104 million which will also give the Singapore bank a ......
