Singapore Exchange: SGX-ASX Deal Benefits Both Nation Interest!

On 28/Dec, Singapore shares end higher Tuesday as investors buy stocks on high confidence of better outlook for 2011. STI ended higher at 3183.70 (0.8 %) with LOW VOL of 1.08 billion shares traded compared with 582 million shares Monday. In the broader market, gainers outnumbered losers 354 to 113. Although the trading volume of STI is relatively low today but high buying pressure of the overall market actually affirms to the bullishness of the investors. Headline in STI Before market close Singapore Exchange Ltd. (S68.SG) said that the purchase of ASX Ltd. (ASX.AU) will serve the great interest for both nations.
