On 30/Dec, Singapore shares end higher Thursday as U.S. dollar weakness and firmer metal prices boost the market sentiment.

STI ended higher at 3212.046 (0.1 %) with LOW VOL of 1.12 billion shares traded compared with 1.37 billion shares Wednesday. In the broader market, gainers outnumbered losers 254 to 182. Today the momentum for the rally of STI has slowed as traders take profit ahead of the long weekend.
