According to the year book of statistic 2010 (http://www.singstat.gov.sg/pubn/reference/yos10/yos2010.pdf) section 17.9, there are 960,815 taxpayers in Singapore. There are about 20,000 financial advisers in Singapore most of them in banks and insurance agents with a minority IFAs. The ratio of adviser to taxpayers is 1:48! This is ridiculous.
