Wilmar invest US$900m in palm oil product plants!

On 07/Feb, Singapore shares end lower Monday as fears heighten that Beijing may implement further tightening measures in the weeks ahead.

STI ended higher at 3192.18 (0.6%) with LOW VOL of 1.39 billion shares traded compared with 940 million shares Wednesday. In the broader market, losers outnumbered gainers 273 to 188. Although STI falls by 0.6% today but the selling pressure is mainly focus on specific stocks and not overall market. Moreover the low selling pressure affirms that investors are not fearful of the market at the moment.

Gym-operator Fitness First plans to raise US$549 million in an initial public offering in Singapore, which is expected to take place in the third quarter.
