NOL Q4 net profit at US$177m!

On 16/Feb, Singapore shares end higher Wednesday as fears easing that Beijing would further tighten monetary policy.

STI ended higher at 3094.72 (0.5%) with LOW VOL of 1.2 billion shares traded compared with 1.6 billion shares Tuesday. In the broader market, gainers outnumbered losers 257 to 189.  Today STI perform another weak rally on low volume and investors merely buying up the bargains stocks.

CapitaMall Trust (C38U.SG) plan to raise up to S$200 million through a 2013 retail bond issue.

Singapore Technologies Engineering had secured a S$185 million contract to construct a car truck carrier.

After market close

Neptune Orient Lines 4Q net profit of US$177 million compared to a loss of US$211 million a year earlier ago as freight rates and cargo volumes soared.
