OCBC 4Q net profit rose 1% to S$505 million!

On 16/Feb, Singapore shares end higher Friday though investors concerned on potential tightening measures from China.

STI ended higher at 3086.92 (0.13%) with LOW VOL of 1.41 billion shares traded compared with 1.14 billion shares Thursday. In the broader market, gainers outnumbered losers 225 to 222.  Today STI continue to rally without any conviction especially investors are pending for more budget announcement later tonight.

Singapore Exchange Ltd. (S68.SG) delayed the launch of continuous trading to 2Q of 2011 instead of March 1 as it is in the process of seeking regulatory approval.

Oversea-Chinese Banking Corp. (O39.SG) 4Q net profit rose 1% to S$505 million compared with S$502 million a year ago.
