Keppel Corp Won Rig Contract Worth US$210 Mln!

On 15/Mar, Singapore shares end lower Tuesday as Japan’s nuclear crisis worsened after two more blasts and a fire at an atomic power plant.

STI ended lower at 2946.08 (2.8%) with HIGH VOL of 2.22 billion shares traded compared with 977 million shares Monday. In the broader market, losers outnumbered gainers 669 to 66.  Today the news of nuclear crisis triggered investors to sell on fear as they dump riskier assets and go for safety.
