NOL Average Revenue/Container Down 1% To US$2560!

On 04/April, Singapore shares end higher Monday as market sentiment was boost by the 2 year low US job data.

STI ended higher at 3140.62 (0.6%) with regular VOL of 1.35 billion shares traded compared with 1.26 billion shares Friday. In the broader market, gainers outnumbered losers 342 to 139.  Today STI continue to rally on the recent breakout of 3120 resistance and the buying interest seems to be increasing.

Mitsubishi UFJ Securities Holdings Co plan to sell off its 29.9% stake in Kim Eng Holdings Ltd after Maybank said it would seek full ownership of the company.

Keppel Corp. (BN4.SG) secured contract worth US$180 million from Jasper Investments Ltd. (FQ7.SG) to construct a jack-up rig.

Overseas Union Enterprise Ltd. (LJ3.SG) plan to raise S$300 million through an issue of unsecured fixed-rate notes due 2014.
