Tokio Marine Life has launched its latest single premium plan, TM Wealth Enhancement (ENRICH). It’s a 5 year participating savings plan which matures with bonuses. From the look of it, it is almost similar to NTUC Growth plan. Here’s some of the details in comparison: Death/TPD benefit NTUC – higher of sum assured + bonus OR 125% single premium/cash value (unless due to age/health condition) TM – 125% of single premium + attaching bonuses (unless due to age/health condition) Accidental death benefit NTUC – 2X of original sum assured + attaching bonuses TM – additional benefit (equivalent to death/TPD benefit excluding bonuses) other than death/TPD benefit What’s of greater interest is the yield on principal. Investment of $200,000 and above command a slightly higher return. NTUC GROWTH

Personally for me, insurance is purely for protection. I will rather look at other types of investment if I have spare cash.

    Cheers!
