Man’s ultimate desire is to please woman

Napoleon Hill, in his classic book, “Think and Grow Rich”, mentioned that the ultimate desire of man is to please woman. This reminded me of Caltex’s slogan “What Drives You?”. The fundamental reason why human beings do what they do – which I believe is making sure your genes survive you in this world. What this means for man is, to please woman so that you can achieve that goal of genetic inheritance. I cannot agree more to Hill’s text. It brings deeper meaning every time you revisit the book. Quoting him on that section: “Man’s greatest motivating force is his desire to please woman! The hunter who excelled during prehistoric days, before the dawn of civilization, did so, because of his desire to appear great in the eyes of woman. Man’s nature has not changed in this respect.
