CapitaLand 1Q Net Profit Triple To S$101.5M!

On 26/April, Singapore shares end lower Tuesday as investors took profit ahead of the U.S. Federal Reserve’s monetary-policy decision Wednesday.

STI ended lower at 3171.83 (0.5%) with LOW VOL of 1.04 billion shares traded compared with 1.06 billion shares Monday. In the broader market, losers outnumbered gainers 252 to 168. Today investors continue to take profit under light selling pressure therefore we would not be too worried on the market yet.

CDL Hospitality Trusts 1Q distribution per unit (DPU) rose 2.6 per cent to 2.38 Singapore cents compared to 2.32 Singapore cents a year earlier due to higher contributions from its hotels.

CapitaLand Ltd. (C31.SG) 1Q net profit tripled to S$101.5 million compared to S$29.8 million a year earlier due to changes on the accounting policy.
