On 27/April, Singapore shares end higher Wednesday though there are concerns on the outcome of the Federal meeting due later.

STI ended higher at 3182.68 (0.3%) with regular VOL of 1.34 billion shares traded compared with 1.04 billion shares Tuesday. In the broader market, losers outnumbered gainers 246 to 220. It seems that investors remain fearful of the resistance at 3214 and market breadth remains negative despite STI rose 0.3%.
