Performance Result for April
By The Journalist  •  May 5, 2011

April had been a pretty decent month. Our nett result wasn’t as good as expected due to the weakening of the USD.

TSTA was up 2.11% for April putting us slightly behind S&P 500 and FTSE-STI which were up 2.85% and 2.38% respectively. Hang Seng Index was up only 0.82%. Our nett result gain of 2.11% factored in the conversion of all foreign currency investments back into SGD.

On an accumulated basis, TSTA performance is down 0.44% for the year. The S&P 500 is up 8.43%, Hang Seng is up 2.53% and FTSE-STI is down 0.98%.
