CapitaMalls Asia Increase China Development Fund To US$900 Mln!

On 23/May, Singapore shares end flat Tuesday as investors remain concern on the China’s economic outlook ahead.

STI ended flat at 3113.09 (0.1%) with regular VOL of 1.14 billion shares traded compared with 1.30 billion shares Monday. In the broader market, gainers outnumbered losers 277 to 180. Today most of the investors are adopting a wait-and-see attitude with relative low buying interest in the market.

Swiber Holdings Ltd. (AK3.SG) has won contracts worth US$109 million from oil majors for projects in Indonesia, Malaysia, Thailand and Vietnam.

Olam International Ltd. (O32.SG) report that independent directors of NZ Farming Systems Uruguay Ltd. (NZS.NZ) have plan to accept the cash offer of NZ$0.70 per share.

CapitaMalls Asia Ltd. (JS8.SG) plan to increase the size of its China Development fund by 50% to US$900 million.
