I finished reading the fiction novel “Enders Game” and was totally blown away (pun intended) by the concept of the book. If you’ve not read the book yet, you may want to stop reading this post as there may be some spoilers. But if you want to read on, please proceed.

Battle School

“Enders Game” is a military-themed science fiction novel set in the future where earth is fighting a war against the alien race known as “Buggers” or “Formics”. The alien race had invaded earth twice and the human race is now engaged in the third battle against the Buggers.

What makes “Enders Game” so original is that in this universe of the book, talented children are spotted early and asked to join Battle School to be trained to be future commanders of starships and starfleets in the inter-stellar war against the Buggers.
