On 31/May, Singapore shares end higher Tuesday supported by positive global economic sentiment.

STI ended higher at 3159.93 (0.6%) with regular VOL of 1.11 billion shares traded compared with 1821 million shares Monday. In the broader market, gainers outnumbered losers 267 to 191. Market sentiment remains weak today as investors mainly buying up selective blue-chips to boost the index.
