Market Outlook (11/06/11): Stocks May Face More Tough Going Ahead!

In last week, STI falls 68 points from the opening of 3146 and close lower at 3078. A black candle stick with little upper/lower shadow indicates that investors have no hesitant in dumping the stocks for safety.

Key Economics Data report:

Stocks fall in the past week as concerns heighten on the global growth slowdown. Headlines highlighting disagreement between the European Central Bank and Germany over the Greek bailout also kept markets on edge.

Economists have downgraded the second quarter earnings and now mostly see growth under 3 percent. There are also increasing concern that the bubble in China might burst soon.

Technical Analysis on STI

STI index has broke the critical support at 3094 which signals the breakout of consolidation mode towards the selling trend.
