Having reached the ripe young/old age of 40 this year, I look back at 40 years of life and made some realisations over time. These insights have not come to me suddenly in a pop and flash; but rather, they have slowly presented themselves to me over time.

The mistakes mistakes I’ve make; the decisions I’ve regretted; the pain I’ve felt have all shaped me and allowed me to understand some simple truths in my journey towards financial freedom.

Little White Hairs

The little white hairs that stare back at me every morning in the mirror while I’m brushing my teeth or shaving reminds me of how time moves for all. We trade our years of life for more experience about how to live it meaningfully, fruitfully and satisfactorily.

PanzerGrenadier is a 30-something accountant who finally grasped the concept of financial freedom at the ripe old age of 32.
