Spilled Coffee and Other Surprises in Life

The Gate To Spilled Coffee
Today I spilled coffee on my office desktop. Luckily no electronic components were affected although some printed notes related to work were coffee stained and had to be disposed off.

It happened because while lifting the plastic lid off the styrafoam cup, my finger holding the cup slipped and tipped the coffee over. Fortunately, I have a rag for use and used it to quickly mop up most of the coffee. But there was some collateral damage though it wasn’t too serious.

Previously, an incident like this would leave me ranting and raving, cursing my butter fingers, the poor quality of the styrafoam cup and my “bad” luck. Inwardly, I still felt “sianz” as I had to do the clean-up but internally counted my blessings that my office laptop (the most important item on my desk) was not touched at all.
