ST Electronics Won S$58 mln contracts!

On 28/June, Singapore shares end higher Tuesday boosted by optimism that Greece will be able to avert default on its sovereign debt.

STI ended lower at 3050.79 (0.1%) with regular VOL of 1.11 billion shares traded compared with 840 million shares Monday. In the broader market, gainers outnumbered losers 243 to 123. Although STI closed flat today but the relatively positive market breadth affirms that investors remains confidence and bullish on the 3040 support.

SIA Engineering Company Ltd. (S59.SG) has renewed a services agreement with the cargo unit of Singapore Airlines Ltd. (C6L.SG) that is expected to add S$358 million in revenue over the next five years.

ST Engineering’s electronic arm, ST Electronics has secured contracts worth S$58 million for intelligent transportation and info-security projects.
