PDT Notes: Exploring REIT-land

REITS have historically been a decent asset class to invest in – not too fancy, nothing spectacular, and no real fear that the underlying assets will suddenly evaporate like so much milk or trees. In that sense, REITS could possibly be the best way to invest in the China story, because they are pretty easy to audit. As always, caveat emptor.

If you want to go in-depth in to REITS I urge you to check out one of my “approved” blogsites – S-REIT Investor, which offers pretty good coverage specializing on REITS. However I don’t like the “news of the day” format which makes you zoom in too much on the small stuff and forget bigger things like valuation and macro picture.
