Keppel Land 2Q Net Profit Fell 64.9% To S$50.5 Mln!

On 20/July, Singapore shares ended higher as there has been “some progress” that U.S. lawmakers will raise the debt ceiling to avoid default.

STI ended higher at 3126.53 (1%) with HIGH VOL of 1.68 billion shares traded compared with 1.52 billion shares Tuesday. In the broader market, gainers outnumbered losers 355 to 179. Today STI rally with strong buying pressure as investors are thrilled by the news on the US raising its debt ceiling.

Keppel Land Ltd. (K17.SG) 2Q net profit fell 64.9% to S$50.5 million compared with S$143.8 million profit a year ago due to a revised accounting policy and a decline in contribution from property trading.
