Olam Raised US$1.25 Bln Via Term Loan Facility!

On 29/July, Singapore shares ended lower as concerns heighten over European sovereign debt and the U.S. debt ceiling.

STI ended lower at 3189.26 (0.02%) with HIGH VOL of 1.75 billion shares traded compared with 1.73 billion shares Thursday. In the broader market, losers outnumbered gainers 319 to 187. STI undergo moderate profit taking today as investors remains indecision on the direction ahead.

Hyflux Ltd.’s (600.SG) desalination plant project in western Algeria is likely delayed until May from August this year, after a fire on Thursday damaged equipment to be installed in the project.

Suntec Real Estate Investment Trust (T82U.SG) has priced a S$150 million, five-year Singapore-dollar bond to yield 3.1%.

Frasers Centrepoint Trust (J69U.SG) has entered into an agreement to acquire a shopping mall in Singapore for S$127 million.
