SIA load factor falls 0.8%!

On 15/Aug, Singapore shares ended higher as the market began to stabilize after recent savage sell offs.

STI ended higher at 2874.40 (0.8%) with LOW VOL of 1.26 billion shares traded compared with 1.87 billion shares Friday. In the broader market, gainers outnumbered losers 357 to 174. Today STI continue to undergo weak buying pressure as investors remain cautious on the economics ahead.

Singapore Airlines July passenger load factor (PLF) was at 81.6 per cent, down 0.8 percentage point over a year ago.

Immediate Resistance of STI: 2936

Immediate Support of STI: 2820

MY sentiment on STI: The STI market is rising at low volume as most investors sidelined pending for more outcome ahead. However it is clear that the selling has eased though the rally is very weak as well.
