Olam signs Technip for fertiliser project!

On 12/Sept, Singapore shares ended lower after renewed fears over Europe’s sovereign-debt crisis led investors to sold off their equities.

STI ended lower at 2743.58 (2.9%) with LOW VOL of 1.13 billion shares traded compared with 1.34 billion shares Friday. In the broader market, losers outnumbered gainers 387 to 91. Today STI undergo heavy selling pressure despite the volume is relatively low.

Global Logistic Properties Ltd. (MC0.SG) said it has not made any decision about whether it will establish a real estate investment corporation in Japan following a report on initial public offer in Japan that could raise at least Y100 billion.

Wilmar International Ltd. (F34.SG) has signed an agreement with Proserpine Co-operative Sugar Milling Association that will allow the unit to make a second offer for the sweetener producer.
