Thai Airways Scraps Plan To Form Low-Cost Airline JV With Tiger Airways!

On 16/Sept, Singapore shares ended higher boost by the decision of five major central banks to jointly offer liquidity support to Europe .

STI ended higher at 2789.04 (0.8%) with LOW VOL of 1.37 billion shares traded compared with 1.3 billion shares Thursday. In the broader market, gainers outnumbered losers 301 to 163. Today STI continue to rally with weak buying pressure as most investors prefer to sideline.

Unilever PLC (UL) said it hasn’t resumed palm oil purchases from Golden Agri-Resources Ltd. (E5H.SG) in Indonesia after Nestle S.A. (NESN.VX) said it placed an order following progress by the producer on environment and sustainability.
