OUE: Issued S$200M 3.95% Unsecured Fixed-Rate Notes Due 2015!

On 29/Sept, Singapore shares ended higher as investors brace for the latest twist in Europe’s debt saga.

STI ended higher at 2708.13 (0.3%) with LOW VOL of 0.805 billion shares traded compared with 1.32 billion shares Wednesday. In the broader market, losers outnumbered gainers 254 to 156. Despite STI gains 0.3% but the overall market breadth is negative which affirms that this rally is weak and lack of conviction.

PT Sinar Mas Agro Resources & Technology Tbk (SMAR.JK), an Indonesian subsidiary of Golden Agri-Resources Ltd. (E5H.SG), is in an initial stage of talks with Unilever PLC (UL, UN, ULVR.LN) on resuming palm oil sales to the consumer goods giant.

CapitaMalls Asia Ltd. (CLPAF, JS8.SG) plan to work with Chinese partners to develop a shopping mall project in China worth about S$1.28 billion.
