Dyna-Mac’s Q1 net profit falls 55.5% to S$4.17m!

On 06/Oct, Singapore shares ended higher helped by the better than-expected U.S. jobs figures.

STI ended higher at 2603.12 (2.9%) with regular VOL of 1.45 billion shares traded compared with 1.08 billion shares Wednesday. In the broader market, gainers outnumbered losers 308 to 141. Today STI undergo heavy buying pressure as investors turn bullish on US job data.

Singapore Technologies Engineering Ltd. (S63.SG) has received a five-year contract valued at S$125 million to provide maintenance services to some defense facilities in Singapore.

Singapore Telecommunications said it was not in talks to sell its 35 per cent stake in Indonesia’s biggest mobile phone operator Telekomunikasi Selular (Telkomsel) to state-owned Telekomunikasi Indonesia (Telkom).

Dyna-Mac Holdings Ltd Q1 net profit has fallen by 55.5% from a year ago to S$4.17 million.
