I came across this very interesting post that introduce us to a Living Bridge. A living bridge is one built from the roots of a tree trained to grow across a small river and take root on the opposite bank. What happens is that you have a bridge that is very sturdy that strengthens itself naturally. Some of these construction is even double decker. This bridge will serve the people and the people’s children and the people’s children children. To do that, every one ( you, your children and children’s children) will have to be taught how to maintain and create the bridge.
