Keppel to acquire 49.9% stake in Norwegian offshore wind turbine foundation designer for US$10.2m!

On 03/Jan, Singapore shares ended higher on improvement in Chinese manufacturing activity.

STI ended higher at 2688.36 (1.6%) with regular VOL of 922.3 million shares traded compared with 437 million shares Friday. In the broader market, gainers outnumbered losers 272 to 73. Today STI undergo strong rally though the buying volume is limited due to holiday seasons.

Mewah International Inc. (MV4.SG) plans to invest about US$145 million in a crude palm oil refinery, packing plant and related logistics facilities in Indonesia.

After market close

Keppel Corporation Ltd wholly-owned subsidiary, KV Ventus BV, has inked three agreements to acquire a 49.9 per cent stake in an offshore wind turbine foundation designer for NOK $61 million (US$10.2 million).
