Tiger’s Feb passenger volume falls 19%!

On 12/Mar, Singapore shares ended lower after China reported a larger-than-expected trade deficit of $31.48 billion in February.

STI ended lower at 2962.18 (0.03%) with LOW VOL of 1.13 billion shares traded compared with 1.24 billion shares Friday. In the broader market, losers outnumbered gainers 210 to 155. Today investors continue to sell on the rally due to uncertainty ahead.

Temasek Holdings has reduced its stake in Sembcorp Marine Ltd. (S51.SG) to 60.91% from 63.95%.

Mapletree Logistics Trust has acquired a portfolio of seven dry warehouse facilities in Japan from Goodman Japan Ltd for a total of 17.5 billion yen (US$213 million).

After market close

Tiger Airways said it carried 384,000 passengers in February 2012, 19 per cent less than it did a year ago.
