What’s the difference between Price and Value ?

According to Benjamin Graham in his book The intelligent investor, Mr Market is a place where you are offer to buy or sell your shares. When Mr Market is feeling optimistic, we will have to pay a high price for the shares we are buying. When Mr Market is feeling upset or moody, we are able to purchase the shares at a bargain below its instrinc value. Bearing in mind that there is a difference between price and value, what Mr Market offer is a market price and the price is dependent on whether he is happy or moody. Separately, the value of the company is determined by the fundamental of the company. The price that we pay for a particular company is just basically a number. How we value the particular company whether the price we pay for is over-valued or undervalued, this is what we called Value.
