M1 Q1 profit down 5.3% to $40.3m!

On 16/April, Singapore shares ended higher as investors remains bullish on the positive news on the local economy.

STI ended higher at 2992.12 (0.1%) with regular VOL of 2.51 billion shares traded compared with 4.53 billion shares Friday. In the broader market, losers outnumbered gainers 223 to 133. Although STI closed higher today but the overall market breadth remains negative as investors choose to take profit.

Singapore Airlines passenger load factor rose 6.3 percentage points to 79.5 per cent in March.
