STX OSV: Gets NOK1.4B Contract!

On 14/June, Singapore shares ended lower on concerns about the ability of European countries to borrow added to lingering concerns about Greek elections this weekend.

STI ended lower at 27773.81 (0.5%) with LOW VOL of 1.02 billion shares traded compared with 1.44 billion shares Wednesday. In the broader market, gainers outnumbered losers 216 to 115. Today STI continue to close with positive market breadth as investors are merely selling specific stocks.

STX OSV Holdings Ltd. (MS7.SG) secured a contract worth about NOK1.4 billion (US$234 million) to build a subsea construction vessel for two Norwegian companies: Ocean Installer and Solstad Offshore ASA (SOFF.OS).

Hyflux Ltd has signed a buyer’s credit agreement for US$14.4 million with the Japan Bank for International Cooperation (JBIC) for financing the purchase of key components for the Tuaspring Desalination Plant.
