Someone wrote to me and said that he has been following my blog for a few months. In these few months, he has missed a few boats. Now, he feels somewhat upset with himself for not being brave enough to get on the boats. The first boat he missed was Saizen REIT because it is Japanese (like the one in the photo above). He was fearful because he heard from people that Japan is going the way of the Dodo. Well, it easy to believe that. The country has been suffering from deflation for 20 years and housing prices are so depressed that a studio apartment in Tokyo is way cheaper than one in Singapore's CBD by a big margin.
