How do we know we are Value Investors?

How do we know we are Value Investors?


One, by reading lots of books on value investing with the word "Warren Buffet" printed on the cover of the book or somewhere inside the pages of the books.

Two, spend lots of time and effort in analysing annual reports, financial statements, financial ratios, attending AGMs, probing CEOs and CFO and trying to judge the characters of CEOs and CFOs at AGMs.

Three, take one or few courses or seminar on Value Investing and the "Gurus" show the way and path to become value investors.

Four,  become active member in some Value Investing forums or chat boxes discussing companies.


Are all these just inputs???



Are Value Investors characterised by Inputs or Outputs?


What are the Outputs that qualified us to be good Value Investors?

Anyone?

I am 62 yrs old uncle living in HDB heartland who has achieved financial independence @ 56 and finally retired @ 60 from full-time job as employee on 1 Oct 2016. Single household income since 1995 with three children. Eldest son and daughter are now working and youngest son still in his 3nd year Uni in SUTD.
