Fresh lawyers are at the top of the salary ranking table yet again, but this time SMU holds the top two spots, beating NUS by a hair’s breadth. (See our GES ranking for last year.)

Those with medical-related degrees are the next best earners, followed quite closely by those with business-related degrees.

Computing-related degrees fare quite well too.

At the bottom of the table are: Music, Art Design & Media, Chinese Medicine and Nursing.

Data used in this article are based on the 2012 Graduate Employment Survey Results consolidated and released by MOE in early 2013.

By Average Gross Monthly Salaries (in brackets are the 75th-percentile salaries)

  1. SMU Law (4-years programme) Cum Laude and above – $5,082 ($5,450)
