Snakes and ladders, anybody? Imagine you are a token, the dice is time, the ladders are uptrend and the snakes are downtrend. The world is just like a giant game board. There is always chances (ladders) that can help you, there is always treats (snake) that can test you.

Do you notice there are more snakes when it gets closer to the goal and more ladders when it is at the bottom? Stock price fall easier when it gets too high (profit taking) and rise when it gets too low (buy cheap stocks). When you take a ladder, good luck, you can accumulate your wealth. When you get a snake, no worry, market will recover, just a matter of time.
