With 2012 coming to an end, its now time to look forward, and set goals for 2013! Thankfully, i’ve managed to accomplish my goals so far, with results better than expected. Hopefully, the coming year would be the same!
With my current portfolio allocation, i have an expected dividend yield of about 8% to cost ($46,000) which amounts to about $3,700 annually. Since i inject capital about 4 times each year of close to $10,000 each time, i can potentially increase the total dividend collected in 2013 to 50% more. Together with some capital gains (which is expected to be low), i can conservatively expect to have an estimated total net gain of about $8,000-$10,000.
