How it works
You can play the Phillip-Macquarie Warrant Challenge either via the
TradeHero app on your iOS or Android mobile, OR through a virtual
POEMS account on your computer.
I come to know about TradeHero app in late 2012 when I was contacted to try out their app and to provide feedback. Although I wasn't a trader, I an still kind of curious because there was not many local trading apps around especially one with funding. However, curiosity soon died down when I realized that it's for Apple App Store only - I'm an Android fanboy.
Fast forward 2014, and TradeHero has established itself as one of top local finance apps, and yes I can get it on Google Play. I have heard of some good things along the years and the current tie up with Phillip and Macquarie is further testament of its success.

Registration for the Warrant Challenge is straight forward.
After signing into TradeHero, tap on Phillip-Macquarie Warrant Challenge.
Enter your NRIC/FIN Number and agree to Terms & Conditions.
Tab Done
You will return to the home screen indicting that you have joined the challenge. That's it. You are all ready.
You will be given $100,000 in virtual credit to get you started. You can view the credits under Portfolios and Watchlists > Phillip-Macquarie. You then use these credits to buy and sell warrants in a simulated environment that mirrors the live market on the SGX. Those with the highest gains stand to win fortnightly and grand cash prizes.
