End of Week Market Commentary – 16 May 2015
For the week, our local benchmark FTSE Straits Times Index (STI) was up 10.46 points [0.3%]. Within the STI component stocks, City Development’s weekly performance pales in comparison to ComfortDelGro. City Development registered a weekly loss of 5.13%, whereas ComfortDelGro gained 11.8%. CapitaLand revised the offer price of CapitaMalls Asia (CMA), from SGD$ 2.2025 to SGD$ 2.350. CMA’s weekly gain of 6.82%; Hutchison Port came in 3rdplace with a weekly gain of 5.15%.
