Singapore Stocks: what’s now?

What is a possible outlook for Singapore Stocks? I believe one of the best ways to get a sense of the outlook is to understand our government’s plans for Singapore. As such though I am quite excited watching the spirited debate in the parliament sessions telecasted in our TV news, a more important thing I am looking at is the important themes for Singapore shared at these parliament sessions. It is no wonder that transport stocks have rallied ahead of these parliament sessions with the anticipation that the government will do more in the transport areas. True enough; the government is doing many things to improve public transport. What was announced at the parliament sessions yesterday (28 May 14) is new (at least to me): the government will scale back $2 billion worth of public construction projects. The projects include new ministries and new statutory boards, the new Science Centre ......
