I Reit Global IPO

I Reit Global Management is reported in the media to be planning an IPO on SGX and the capital raised may be about US$300 million according to the reports which I have read. I Reit Global Management is a property trust and it is also reported that the trust has received SGX’s listing approval. According to the sources reported in the media, Chinese real estate tycoon Tong Jinquan, may buy more than half of the IPO. Mr Tong has bought more than half of Viva Industrial Trust's IPO offering. I Reit Global Management is backed by office buildings in Germany and I believe this IPO if launched will be popular with Singapore’s retail investors as German products has always been loved by Singapore: German cars, German food, Germany as a tourist destination and we even now have a hair-loss shampoo from Germany on our retail outlets called Alpecin.
