Invest Fair 2014 will be held in Suntec City. When I was a rookie investor, I attended these fairs to learn about investing. While I was quite impressed with some of the rates of returns and time frames of these returns to me, I could not help but think that most of these were sales talk. At a forex talk there, there was a trader who promised very good and fast returns. Yes, one could possibly learn from these masters, these gurus but I really think that the joys of investing is best enjoyed first-handedly through learning from mistakes and improving from there. I learn a lot on my own in investing. While books shape my investments thoughts, I customise all the theories learnt based on my investment appetite.
