Expecting further selling pressure in Straits Times Index.

Straits Times Index had a short week last week but it still experienced wild swings in the market. With multiple concerns from US and HK, market participants were seen jittery in response to both positive and negative news. The week started bearishly after a long week end. This bearish reaction signalled that the market is still reluctance to go on the upside. Hence, on Wednesday, STI plunge back to its recent low around 3220 level. But positive news from both US and HK side lifted STI up on Thursday. 3265 resistance level was being tested again. However, the return of HK protest prompted many to exit the market in fear.
