Regular readers to my blog would know that I have been an advocate of Tiger Airways stock as I have belief in J.Y Pillay, the company’s former Chairman. J.Y Pillay was once described by MM Lee as equivalent to one of the best talents in America. I thought to myself that a company under such a renowned man will become great and also Tiger Airways count Temasek Holdings as one of its substantial shareholders. Hence I bought Tiger Airways stock but now this stock is trading at low prices of around thirty cents a share with some analysts even giving the stock a low target price of ten cents! Tiger Airways stock is also having a rights issue now. I bought Tiger Airways stock at around fifty cents and I have just one lot of this stock to “test waters” though it is helmed by J.Y Pillay ......
